It used to be that bulge bracket investment banks and big-money hedge funds had the pick of the quantitative and data-minded crop coming out of top business schools. That was especially true of those students based in the finance world?s backyard, New York City. Not anymore, says Anindya Ghose, a professor at NYU?s Stern School of Business.
